Julia Mai Linnéa Maria
Julia is a highly talented fine artist working with a range of mediums to create beautiful works. Thortify were initially drawn to Julia’s work through her character Frank Castillo, aka the Grumpy Old Moon whose stubborn nature and utter hilarity instills a real sense of joy.
Julia’s strong values for equality and social justice shine through her work. Her charitable work includes a new Art Auction initiative: Artists For Ukraine, which will remain in place until there is peace in Ukraine and Europe. So far, Julia’s initiative has raised over 20,000 US dollars in direct donations to charities both in and for Ukraine. Julia is an active campaigner against genocide and also offers a selection of free protest art downloads on her website as part of the campaign to end the occupation of Palestine.
